We are currently working on Astronomy: Sun, Solar System, Moon, and how they affect us on Earth!  Homework Due on May 26 Thursday:  Tic Tac Toe assignment you have to pick one thing to do such as: Build a model of the solar system; planet; make a poster; write a song with a chorus and a refrain; create a game or talk show.

This is a picture of The Milky Way galaxy. This is our own galaxy viewed from the inside. It is a vast collection of more than 200 billion stars, planets, nebulae, clusters, dust and gas. Our own sun and solar system are also part of the Milky Way galaxy.
